The death of Henry Nowak.......a Catholic view

"I can't breathe." The handcuffing of a murder victim & the death of our culture.

The above video is by the Roman Catholic commentator Dr Gavin Ashenden.......which at least the Roman Catholics have something to say.....the Pentecostals,Anglicans et al seem to have nothing to say. So if I am a “Christian”(whatever that is) what ought the response to be in the face of millions of daily acts of horror and injustice? Apart from the good Roman Catholic doctor the response seems to be indifferent silence, And maybe indifferent silence is the prudent course of action....after all the event has opened a massive can of worms that noone is capable of correctly addressing. Hence silence. After all it is just one dreadful daily act of chronic injustice across the entire planet. But if we take this view, that Henry Nowak's brutal death is just one act of evil that happens every day to untold millions. But who or what is to define a act as good or evil? From whence do we get out measuring rod? Says who that brutal murder is a horror of evil proportions?

These are value judgements.
